How to export to Gmail and Google Apps?

Here we recommend a convert tool, called Address Magic Personal. This software allows convert both address books and email to Gmail quite easily.

Let's go, learn how to convert an address book.

1. Run Address Magic.
2. For Source format, choose your desired source.
3. For Destination format, choose Outlook Express.
4. Open gmail in your browser.
5. Click on "Contacts" on the left side of the page.
6. Click on "Import" on the top right of the page.
7. You'll see an "Import Contacts" open that will let you upload a CSV file. Click on "Learn more" if you need help creating a CSV file from Outlook Express.

Please follow these steps to convert your email:(Requires PLUS version)

1. Run Address Magic.
2. Choose Message conversion.
3. For Source format, choose your desired source.
4. For Destination format, choose Gmail.
5. Click Next and Finish.
6. Enter your Gmail email address and password when prompted.
7. Conversion will proceed automatically.

Important!

To convert to Gmail, messages must be individually uploaded. The speed of this process is completely dependent on the speed that you can upload, which is usually AT LEAST ten times slower than you can download. Therefore, converting messages to Gmail can take several hours.
Gmail has a 40 character limit on the names of folders. Therefore, Address Magic will "flatten" your folder hierarachy to make it fit. This strategy also fits better with Gmail's concept of labels instead of of folders.
