Photovista 3D Objects
Photovista 3D Objects lets you quickly create detailed, photo-realistic,
3D image objects that visitors to your Web site can pick up and rotate
at the click of a mouse. Precise editing features lets you work with popular
image files to mask, center, layout and output 3D image objects for the
Web. The files are compact and your visitors can view them on any browser
without a plug-in.
Photovista 3D Objects works in much the same way as PhotoVista Panorama,
stitching together a series of still photos to create a 3D object. Simply
take photos of your object from the same height and angle from all 360°.
Photovista 3D Objects can handle up to 180 photos, (one for every two
degrees), giving you as much detail and rotation as you want. Then add
your photos into the new project and click on the preview button to get
a working copy of what your 3D image will look like in it's rotation.

Key Features of Photovista 3D Objects:
Capture images from any TWAIN-compatible digital camera, upload them to Photovista 3D Objects
and let the powerful stitching engine create a seamless image object.
- Powerful image management
Tilt your image vertically for a partial or 180° view, or give your image object a partial
or full 360° rotation. Simple tools make it easy. And just in case, the Project Document
feature saves all the attributes for your project, including your image's original settings.
- Perfect backgrounds
Photovista 3D Objects include automatic masking tools to remove backgrounds from your images.
The chroma key masking tool removes any specified color from the background,
while the background image masking removes all background features.
You can also manually edit for more precise results.
- Real-time centering
Get rid of image “wobbles” caused by improper centering quickly and easily.
- Image stabilization
Unwanted inconsistencies in your frames, typically caused by scanners
or the transfer of film to CD, can take hours to repair. With Photovista 3D Objects,
it takes just minutes.
- Flexible frames
The Frame Adjust feature lets you adjust the position of the X and Y axes on individual frames.
- Web preview
Select the viewer of your choice (Java, ActiveX, Plug-in) and preview results as you work.
You can also output your 3D image object to a preview Web page to instantly view your work.
- Work with most files
It’s easy to work with JPEG, BMP, AVI and FlashPix image files.
You can also export IMOBs for use in Reality Studio, Photovista Virtual Tour,
as a stand-alone IMOB for Zoom Viewers (applet, plug-in or activeX)
or as AVI files for use in other projects.
