How does it hide my IP address?

The recipient of the email sent with 123 Hidden Sender will find the proxy's IP address in the headers of the email instead of yours. You can verify this by sending yourself a test message.

If you send a test email to your email address that is hosted by your own ISP, you may get confused why the ISP's name is in your headers. Your IP will not show up in the header in any case. Remember if you sent the email to your ISP, their domain name has to be in the emails since they are the receiving party of your email. To avoid this confusion send test emails to an email address that has nothing to do with your ISP. Rest assured, that you CANNOT set up this program in any way to send out email and show your IP address!
