enable Tuner

enable Tuner performs real-time tuning for a range of instruments, as well as presets for each instrument in a variety of styles. You can transpose, use common jazz and orchestra references or even enter your own custom frequencies for unlimited flexibility.

enable Tuner automatically determines your instrument / string's current frequency to high accuracy, and tells you the corresponding musical note. Use the transposition facilities to aid you in writing music or transcribing pieces you don't have sheet music for. Learn to "tune by ear" using the Play Tone feature, which generates the note you are trying to play while you tune to it. It's quick and easy!

Key Features of enable Tuner :
  • Real-time high precision instrument / note tuning - lets you know when you're in tune, too high, too low, the current frequency and what note you are currently playing.
  • Huge range of instrument presets: Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Violin, Viola, Cello, Flute, Piccolo, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn.
  • Huge range of styles: Hawaiian Guitar, 5 and 6 string Bass, and many more, including common Jazz and Orchestra references.
  • Transpose all styles up and down to a whole octave in semi-tone steps.
  • Real-time signal processing shows the sampled waveform as well as spectral analysis of your sound - you can see your harmonics!
  • A range of tuning visualizations allows you to choose what type of display you're most comfortable with (traditional needle, cent scaling, hertz scaling, etc.).
  • Play Tone allows you to actually listen to the note you are trying to tune to. It's great for learning to tune by ear or for entering custom frequencies to hear how they sound!
  • Change input and output levels to allow for differing sensitivity levels between instruments.
