- Track Personal and Shared Password Lists
With Passwordstate you can track passwords for individuals, or create Shared Password Lists to
be shared amongst multiple people.
- All passwords are encrypted within the database
To protect the privacy of user's passwords, all passwords are stored within the database using the
streaming-encryption algorithm known as RC4. This also protects your passwords from Database Administrators
who can generally view the raw data in databases.

Date and region formatting for United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland & New Zealand.
- Reminders for password resets
It is a recommended practice to employ regular password changes which helps to keep them more secure.
If you choose, you can set reminders for when your passwords should be changed and Passwordstate will
notify you 30 days prior to the specified date.
- Import and export password lists
Allows you to easily import or export lists of passwords saving a considerable amount of time in data entry.
Using Internet Information Server and Microsoft's SQL databases, you can scale your solution from a single user to the enterprise.
- Secure Access to Shared Password Lists
Shared Password Lists are control by granting access only to the individuals who need to seem them.
If your not granted access to a list, you're not even aware that it exists.
- Advanced Querying
Advanced querying can be performed for both personal and shared password lists, with the results being displayed
on the screen or exported to Microsoft Excel format.
- Standard Login or Integrated Windows Authentication
Standard or Integrated Windows Authentication is possible and is control by either selecting, or not selecting,
the 'Integrated Windows Authentication' option when configuring the web site.
- Flexible Grid Component
The grid component used throughout Passwordstate is flexible and allows each user to maintain their own settings
for the number of records displayed, and the width of columns.
